'Crust & Hearth Pizzeria was born from a humble ambition: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to Oxford. Established by the Rossi lineage in 1985, our little pizzeria began as a quaint, family-owned shop, preserving recipes that have been passed down for generations.
Marco Rossi, the visionary behind our establishment, mastered the pizza craft on her exploration of Italy, learning from esteemed pizzaiolos in Naples where pizza was first created. After her journey back to the UK, she aimed to replicate the enchantment of authentic Italian pizza, employing age-old techniques and only the best ingredients.
From our original small pizzeria with just 12 seats, we've since become a cherished part of the neighborhood. However, our devotion to excellence and authenticity remains unchanged. Our age-old techniques with the wood-fired oven endure, we still prepare our dough from scratch every day, and we continue to select top-tier ingredients.
All through today, 'Crust & Hearth Pizzeria' is still a family affair, with the Rossis' next generation at the helm of our devoted team. While we have adapted new methods, the essence of our venture persists: forging delectable, genuine pizzas that bring folks together.
